Marone Bluecarno
Marone Bluecarno's bio:
Marone first appears after Rid, Keel, Farah, and
Meredy kill a crab monster. They are eating
peacefully when Marone attacks and kidnaps Rid.
She wants him to be her partner in the bountyhunting
business. Marone takes him to the island of
Belcarnu where she realizes how he feels about his
friends. She asks that he help her in killing
one sea monster and then he can go back. Keel,
Farah, and Meredy come look for Rid and decide to take
on the monster themselves. Marone and Rid show
up and finish the monster after Keel, Farah, and
Meredy failed to kill it. Marone takes half of
her reward from the island's leader, X'tushia.
Marone gets a room at Hotel Uranus. Rid and the
others collect the other half and end up staying at
the same hotel.
Farah wants to
leave the island as soon as possible, and she ask
Marone if they can borrow Varossa to leave the
island. Marone doesn't want to let them borrow
Varossa and Farah gets into a fight with Marone.
Platia, the hotel's owner, breaks the fight up and
says they should settle their dispute in the
Umidameshi. The Umidameshi is a contest that
settles disputes among women. In it, the women
have to swim one lap around the islands of Belcarnu
and the first one to grab the cloth at the finish gets
one wish. During the swim, a monster attacks
Farah and Marone. They fight and almost lose,
but Varossa comes and picks them up. When they
are on land, Farah finds out that Varossa was hurt in
the hurricane. The monster comes back and they
fight it again. During the fight Farah and
Marone find out that both of them will wish for
Varossa to be healed. After they knock the
monster out, they go finish the race. Meredy
gets the cloth before Farah and Marone, and they start
fighting over who will pay the vet bill for Varossa.
Meredy wishes that Farah and Marone would get along,
and they grant it for her.
Marone is
later seen at a tavern singing. Meredy and Coreena
pop up on stage as performers. Marone doesn't
like that kids are the entertainment and goes to the
owner. The owner runs at the sight of Marone's
sword and calls his bodyguard to get rid of her.
The bodyguard turns out to be Rid. They fight
and Rid wants Marone to lose, but she will not give
in. Meredy calls out Undine and washes them all
out of the tavern.
Next time
Marone is seen, Farah wants to go to a hot
spring. Marone leads them to a hidden one.
Here Farah finds that Marone can't stand really hot
water. Farah tells Marone that she is her
friend. Farah also tells her about how Meredy is
a Celestian.
Marone is
kicking back at the hotel when three idiots come by
and make Rid part of their team, The Black Wing.
They decide to solve the mysteries of the island and
head to the ruins of Belcarnu. Everyone heads
over there when Platia reveals that there are monster
there. When they break through the ruins, they
accidently release the monster and Rid, Farah, and
Marone kill all of them. They find out that the
monsters are from Celestia.
The next day,
a Sea Festival is announced. In this festival, a
girl may confess their love to a man. Meredy and
Coreena tell Marone that they want to tell Rid that
they love him...as a brother. This surprises
Marone, who is 'out of it.' She is most likely
thinking about telling Rid how she feels about
him. Marone overhears Minima asking to meet Rid
at the Easter Cove. Farah overhears Platia
asking the same. Later, Marone joins Farah by
the beach. They talk about the meeting at the
Easter Cove. They discover that they are talking
about two different people. Marone says that
this will cause a fight between Platia and Minima, but
I think she wants to make sure it doesn't
happen. On the way to the cove, they stop and
look at the lights rising out from the sea. They
rest on a log where Marone tells Farah that she is
'drawn' to Rid. According to her, "his
skills are excellent and his sword handling is cunning
too." -_-'
Marone says she feels relaxed when she is with him,
but she doesn't plan on doing anything with him.
She also says that the reason she is telling Farah
this is because of the atmosphere of the
festival. Farah sees Rid on a cliff and two
figures behind him. Marone calls Varossa and
heads towards him with Farah. The two figures
draw daggers and attack Rid. Rid manages to stop
them from embedding the daggers, but he still gets
cut. Farah and Marone reach the cliff and Marone
draws her sword. Rid tells them not to attack
them because they are Platia and Minima. Platia
and Minima give up and Keel arrives to explain who
they are. X'tushia appears and tells them that
she will take revenge on Inferia for the Celestians of
the island. X'tushia attacks and Platia and
Minima fall into the sea. Keel and Meredy call
upon their summoning spirits and help the
others. X'tushia reveals that she has Coreena.
The summoning spirits then return to crystal form and
into the hands of X'tushia. X'tushia tells them
that Coreena has the ability to control summoning
spirits, but now that she has three of them, she no
longers needs Coreena. X'tushia disappears and
the group takes a little rest.
They steal a
boat and heads towards an uninhabited island.
Marone calls Verossa and leaves. She surrenders
to the Celestians and wants to meet X'tushia.
She brought to what use to be her father's room.
In there, her father's Celestian costume is still
there. Marone puts it on and meets X'tushia in
it. Marone remembers when her family left the
island. Marone's father didn't believe in taking
revenge on Inferians. He left with his family to
search for Marone's mother's homeland. Marone
tells X'tushia that she thinks different from her
father. She asks that she be taken in as a
Worshiper of Nereid. X'tushia doesn't believe
her, but Marone says that she will kill Rid Hershel to
prove that she is one of them. She will also
bring back Coreena. X'tushia explains she only
brought her up to get the summoning spirits.
Marone says she understands about using a parent-child
relation to get something. X'tushia then starts
to believe her and walks towards her. Marone's
erara suddenly pops up on her head when she remembers
her parent's deaths. Marone then attacks
X'tushia. She says she has now avenged her
parents, but X'tushia appears from a corner. The
thing Marone attacked was merely a shadow.
X'tushia asks Marone who killed her parents.
Marone says it was X'tushia who commanded it be
done. X'tushia attacks Marone and Rid and Farah
show up to help. Monsters appear and Varossa
gets them out of there.
They are
followed by people on flying disk. They try to
shoot Varossa down. Rid and Marone get on one of
the disk and take command of it. Rid uses the
gun on the disk to shoot down the others. A
flying tank with a huge cannon appears and
shoots. They are hit, and Rid is injured.
Marone gives Rid to Farah and tells her to tell Rid
that she likes him, and she also likes Farah.
Marone charges at the tank and crashes into it.
It seems like she gave her life to make sure Rid and
Farah lived.
Marone is
found alive by the Anit-X'tushia group. She is
wrapped up in bandages and put into a bath tub in a
safehouse her father left. Marone shows up on
Varossa with Minima. Marone tells them that her
father took a book from X'tushia and copied it.
Keel decides he will try to decode the book.
Keel decodes the book and they find out that X'tushia
is one half of herself. The other Celestians
join the Anti-X'tushia cause and they all converge on
the 'Chain of Existence' ship. Marone, Coreena,
and Meredy go find X'tushia's real body while the
others go stop X'tushia. The real X'tushia comes
out of a chamber and stops the 'Chain of Existence'
from firing. She makes X'tushia understand that
it's over. X'tushia ask that Marone kill
her. Marone says she won't do it. X'tushia
then ask Coreena to exact her revenge. She won't
do it either. X'tushia ask that the 'Chain of
Existence' be destoryed and the two X'tushias
rejoin. Marone takes everyone out of there while
Rid, Keel, Farah, and Meredy destroy the ship.
Marone stays on the island with X'tushia and Coreena.
Rid, Keel, Farah, and Meredy are seen heading towards
Celestia in a huge ball of light at the end.
