Starts with Demon Eyes Kyo and Mibu Kyoshiro staring at each
other. They are surrounded by mist and other samurai fighting. Kyo
goes charges Kyoshiro as the scene changes to show the surroundings.
Sanada Yukimura tells Saizou to make more mist because they have one chance to
do this(I guess they are talking about the meteor.). In Kudoyama, Sakuya
senses something about Kyoshiro. Kyo is shown standing as Kyoshiro holds a
broken sword. He stabs the ground with it, and the sword begins to
glow. Kyo tries to kill Kyoshiro, but his slash is blocked by Yukimura.
Yukimura tells Kyoshiro he was sent by Sakuya. A meteor is shown falling
towards the area. Yukimura, Saizou, and Sasuke run as it heads towards Kyo.
Kyoshiro stays with Kyo as the meteor hits them. Then it is four years
later. A man is shown reading a wanted sign for Demon Eyes Kyo. He
is wondering where the sick people are when he sees a girl laying down by a
tree. He heads over to her quickly telling her that he is a
druggist. She tells him that she has chest pains. Yukimura is shown
talking with Sakuya. Saizou and Sasuke show up telling them they found
Kyoshiro. Yukimura says he'll take a look. Kyoshiro is then shown at
a shack with the girl. She says that she's cold and wants him to warm her
with his body. As Kyoshiro opens his shirt, she pulls a gun out and points
it at his head. She introduces herself as Shiina Yuya, a bounty
hunter. Kyoshiro tries to run away as she reads off his crimes, but she
shoots some bullets and he stops. A freaky guy is shown saying that he can
smell 'him.' The scene switches back to Kyoshiro and Yuya, and Kyoshiro is
now hung upside-down from a tree. The freaky guy shows up and wants
Kyoshiro. Yuya shoots him, but he catches all three bullets with his
tongue. He then transforms into a snake-like creature. Kyoshiro is
getting beat up by the creature as Yukimura and Sasuke watch in the
shadows. Suddenly, Kyoshiro catches one of the creature's tentacles.
He opens his eyes and they have changed to red. Yukimura runs near Yuya
and throws the Muramasa at Kyoshiro. Yukimura ask him if he remembers him,
and calls him Demon Eyes Kyo. Everyone now realizes that Kyoshiro is now
Kyo.

Shoju's Rating: 10/10 - Great start to a new anime.
Everything looks good. The animation, the start of the story, and the
characters. When this first came out, many people said that this was a
rip-off of Kenshin. These people are obviously fucking idiots. The
way Kyo acts, it does remind me of the 'Battousai' Kenshin, but other than that,
there are no major clones in the series.

Yuya can't believe that Kyoshiro is Demon Eyes Kyo. The
snake creature explains that he was one of the samurai fighting in the battle
four years ago. When the meteor hit, he was knocked out. When he
woke up, his body became snake-like. Kyo says he doesn't know him.
He then says that maybe if he kill his girl, he'll remember. Kyo says he
can do whatever he wants. The guy gets mad and throw Yuya aside to attack
Kyo. Kyo dodges the attack and tries to slash him, but his sword won't
connect. Yukimura explains to Yuya that his tail is strong and spinning
really fast, creating an invisible wall. He also tells her that the
creature is a kenyou. They are monsters from Sekigahara. The kenyou
tells Kyo that he can't finish him with a sword that has lost its edge and
attacks. When the dust clears, Kyo tells the kenyou that he shouldn't
mistaken the Muramasa for any other sword. Kyo then puts his fingers and
the base of the blade and moves it towards the tip. The sword glows and
his finger passes over the blade. Kyo then uses a technique called Mumyou
Jinpuu Ryuu Satsujin Ken: Mizuchi. The kenyou thinks he did nothing
because he swung his sword out of range of him. He moves forward to
attack, but then he falls in pieces. Kyo then looks at Yuya. Yuya
stutters backwards and sees that the other two guys left. Sasuke ask
Yukimura if they should leave the girl alone like that. He answers that
she knows Kyo's secret, so it can't be helped. Yukimura calls out some
orders and then heads towards Edo with Saizou. Sakuya is shown and she
says that she did something that can never be forgiven. They then show the
scene of Kyoshiro and Kyo getting hit by the meteor. Yuya is seen running
from Kyo. She trips and falls. She then asks Kyo if Kyoshiro is an
alias. Kyo says that he is inside him right now. Yuya then pulls out
her gun and tells him who she is. Kyo tells her that she is out of bullets
and an insect like her can't defeat him. Yuya then says something about
finding a guy with a cross-shaped wound on his back. Kyo says that she
amuses him and that he'll be watching. Kyo then falls to the ground as
Kyoshiro regain control of his body, but Kyoshiro is still knocked out.
Yuya gets Kyoshiro's medicine box and tries somethings that wakes him up.
Kyoshiro worries about Yuya when he finds out that she met Kyo, but she says she
is fine. Kyoshiro tells Yuya that he can't remember any past four years
ago. Yuya says she wants to travel with him. She privately thinks to
herself that she will get Kyo next time he comes out. Later that night,
they stumble upon a lady who knows Kyoshiro. She tells them that she is
here at this village because there is rumor that this village has a lot of
hidden money. When they hear wolves, she tells Yuya that even if Kyoshiro
has forgotten, Kyo will protect them. The dogs show up and they all run
for the village. In the morning, the leader of the village tells Kyoshiro
and Yuya about the village. While looking at the fields, a girl complains
about the village's way of life. Kyoshiro tries to explain to her about
how her father feels. A mysterious figure is shown in the distance.
He quickly disappears. Yuya ask Kyoshiro if Kyo was trying to come
out. Kyoshiro says he won't ever come out again. The mysterious
figure is then shown with a couple of guys that call themselves the Sansai Shuu.
The lady from last night also appears with some wolves accompanying her.

Shoju's Rating: 10/10 - This episode continues the great
story a little. This series is cliffhangering like Tokyo Underground so
far. Don't say this is a Kenshin clone just because Yuya mentions a
cross-shaped scar.
