Bio: Tifa was a very popular girl since she was young and
even now. She was trained in martial arts by Zangan. She had many friends
and was happy until her mother died. One day, Cloud asked her to meet him
at the well that night. At the well, Cloud told Tifa that he was going to
leave Nimbelheim and go join Soldier to become famous like Sephiroth. Tifa
makes him promise that he'll come back to rescue her when he does become famous.
He agrees and days later Tifa wants to go see her mother and heads towards the
Nimbelheim Mountains.
(Note sure about the following:)Cloud follows her
all to the bridge. At the bridge Tifa falls and Cloud tries to save her,
but he ends up falling also. Tifa ends up being in a coma for awhile and
Tifa's dad blames it on Cloud. Cloud wasn't badly injured and left
Nimbelheim to try to join Soldier.
Cloud finds out he wasn't good enough for
Soldier and becomes a Shinra troop instead. He gets assigned to accompany
two Soldiers to Nimbelheim, Sephiroth and Zack. Tifa waits at the entrance
to the town waiting for them to come expecting Cloud to be among the Soldiers
coming. Cloud hides underneath his Shinra troop uniform so Tifa doesn't
find him.
Later Tifa guides them to the Nimbelheim Mako
Reactor in the mountains. Cloud is the trooper that keeps Tifa out of the
Reactor. When Sephiroth burns the town, Tifa's father tries to get in
Sephiroth's way and gets killed. When Tifa sees her dead father, she takes
the Masamune and tries to kill Sephiroth. Sephiroth easily gets his katana
back and slashes Tifa. Cloud comes and puts her aside and Zack tells Cloud
to kill Sephiroth. Cloud confronts Sephiroth and Sephiroth puts his katana
right into Cloud. Cloud lifts Sephiroth and throws him into the pits of
the Reactor.
Tifa is rescued by Zangan and brought her to
Midgar. She set up a bar that later became Avalanche's headquarters.
Tifa finds a disoriented Cloud one day at the train station. He wakes up
saying he's an Ex-Soldier and is now a mercenary. He agrees to go on the
mission to bomb Reactor No. 1 and the start of Jenova's plans begin here.
When they are in Kalm, and Cloud tells the
group of his 'past,' Tifa doesn't say anything about not seeing Cloud five years
ago at Nimbelheim. She feared that would cause trouble and didn't say
anything about it. Tifa helps Cloud find the true memories when they are
both in the Lifestream.
Before the final battle, Cloud tells everyone
to go find the reasons they are fighting for. While the others go see
loved ones and go back home, Cloud and Tifa just stay at the Highwind.
Both of them have no real home to go home to, and all their relatives are
deaceased. They just stay with each other until it was time to go.
